Focus on the Quality of Job Candidates

Episode Solutions helps high-performing physicians and physicians’ groups evaluate and maximize their performance in alternative payment structures without sacrificing existing professional fee-for-service revenue. The healthcare company was founded in 2012 and has grown to seventy-four employees, with more hires expected this year.
At the helm of hiring is Nichole Dingman, the Human Resources Manager at Episode Solutions. Dingman began her career with the company in 2019 as the Human Resources Coordinator but was quickly promoted to her current role. One of Nichole’s first tasks was to centralize HR, then to build out a recruiting and onboarding process that would support the firm’s accelerated growth. Dingman needed a talent pipeline to fill open positions. “Initially, I wanted to do most of the recruiting internally,” says Dingman. However, hiring for executive-level positions at Episode was challenging. “While we partner with local colleges and universities, the skill sets we need to fill these job positions are not entry-level. They require a unique mix of skill and experience.” That’s when Dingman sought the help of recruiters to source top talent. JSMAssociates made the shortlist.
Dingman works exclusively with four recruiters. Janet’s expertise, professionalism, and results have made her preferred among them. “Janet was a fantastic sounding board as I worked to develop internal processes.” Having worked with JSMAssociates for the past few months, Dingman is confident in Janet’s ability to deliver a qualified talent pool and praises her focus on the quality of candidates, not the quantity. “Hands down, she [Janet] has given us the best quality candidates,” says Dingman. To date, JSMAssociates has placed the VP of Product Development and a Solutions Architect and is working to place a Data Engineer as well as other positions in information technology and accounting.
“I don’t think we could have found this caliber of a candidate to fill the VP of Product Development position on our own,” says Dingman. “She [Janet] blew it out of the water.” Dingman continues, “Janet is genuine and generous, especially in her recruiting efforts.
